What Inspires me? People being kind and considerate to each other.

When I’m not at the salon I’m probably: Errands, Helping family, hanging with my sister twisting wire trees.  We create tree-scapes using materials like wire and rocks.  You can find out more about them here: Twilight Twisted Trees.

What should people know about Metta Massage?  It is a relaxing and inviting space.  Massages are tailored in both time and technique to each individual.  This can be relief from pain or injury or just to simply relax!  What sets my practice apart is that I use an all natural cream that is unscented and is made up of coconut oil, aloe butter, apricot kernel oil, beeswax, vitamin E, and a few secret ingredients!  This continuously absorbs into the skin unlike traditional oils that clog pores and build up on the skin.

I became a massage therapist because: I like working with my hands and helping others feel better too.  Everybody’s happy to see me! (laughing)

Favorite technique:  Myofascia release; this is an unwinding of the muscles and connective tissue.

Do you get massages? Absolutely- Every 3 to 4 weeks! You can’t take care of others if you don’t take care of yourself!

If there was a movie about your life it would be called: Finding the path of least resistance
